My Samples

This gallery includes pictures of some of the stitched samples that you'll see if you visit my booth at one of the expos or conferences. I hope they give you some ideas on how you might use my designs.

I've also included some information on fabrics I used or options I chose to use on each. If you have any questions, please contact me using the email link at the top of the page. I'll be happy to tell you whatever I can.

The pictures can't do the projects justice, so if you get a chance to come see them in person, I hope you'll take it.

Child's Purse - Inside

Lift the flap and here's what you see! Your favorite little girl can carry her accessories in style.

Child's Purse - Monogrammed

I used a pretty cotton pique print for the outside of this purse. I stitched the optional circle quilting pattern on both front and back in pink thread. I also stitched the diamond pattern on the purse flap, but in silver metallic thread. I added an initial inside a satin stitched circle for an easy monogram. The flap closure is a piece of Velcro and the shoulder strap is cording, purchased at Hobby Lobby. Return to Child's Purse info page.

Child's Purse - Holiday

I think the circle quilting added a nice touch to this holiday bag. I chose not to do the quilting on the purse flap, but it would be really cute done with red diamonds over the black pleather. I handstitched a red grosgrain ribbon to the flap, and used a magnetic catch for the closure. The shoulder strap is a length of 1/2" trim, purchased at JoAnn Fabrics.
