Select the size that is right for your hoop. The size shown is for the largest piece in the design. The bag requires 3 - 4 hoopings, depending on the details you choose to add.

Sewn completely in the hoop, including the zipper. Use only nylon/poly dress zippers.

Child's Purse

In this purse, the "pocket" is the main part of the purse while the zippered area becomes a zippered pocket. Optional features include quilted circles on the purse front and back. The purse flap has optional diamond quilting. Instructions are also included for adding a monogram or design to the purse flap. Available in 2 sizes to fit the most popular home machines. Be sure to choose the size that is appropriate for your machine.

It should be noted that this bag requires layering multiple pieces into one seam area in the final three steps. Some machines may have difficulty with this many layers, Janome machines in particular.  It has been successfully tested on a Janome machine and my recommendations for these machines have been included in the instructions. I have also included a full page with suggestions on how to reduce the bulk for all machines. As with all of my zipper bag designs, you should stay with your machine while it stitches and be sure to read ALL of the instructions before you begin.
